This is the only place where you can buy books direct from me, and get them personally autographed to you, a friend, or a family member.

The Runner's World Complete Book of Running: This is a book for serious runners looking to improve their fitness and their race times. It contains many of the best articles ever published by Runner's World, along with "intros" and "conclusions" that I've written to add perspective. Soft cover, 312 pages.

The Runner's Guide to the Meaning of Life: This is the book I receive the most comments about, and it's the perfect gift book for anyone from a beginning runner to a veteran. It's full of essays I've written about how running touches all parts of our lives: spouses, brothers, children, happy days/sad days, quiet moments, and raucous celebrations. I like to give it to friends, with an appropriate autograph, on their special birthdays. Soft cover, 150 pages.

The Runner's World Complete Book of Beginning Running: The title says it all: This is a book for those who want to begin running to improve their health and energy. The book has a strong "you can do it" tone, with a special emphasis on using harnessing your mind to help you stick with your training program. A key section of the book has full, day-by-day 8-Week and 32-Week training programs guaranteed to get you to the point where you can run 30 minutes without stopping. Soft cover, large format, 320 pages.

The Principles of Running: This is a small book, but one of my favorites. Inside, I've taken all the important issues of running, and explained them each on a 2-page spread that includes 5 key points to remember. You want to understand, quickly, the key stuff about: shoes, training, heart rate, carbs, fats, protein, water, and injury prevention, and much, much more? Here's your book. Soft cover, 163 pages.
